This policy explains what information Made in Turkmenistan collects when you use this website, why we collect it, and what rights you have. We collect the minimum needed to answer your enquiries.
1. What we collect
When you submit a Request for Quotation or a message through the contact form, we receive the details you enter: company name, contact person, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, and the description of your requirements. When you use the online consultant (chat), we store your messages and the assistant's replies so we can review what customers ask and improve our answers. We also record anonymous visit statistics: which pages were opened, the website you came from, the interface language, and whether a phone or a computer was used. These statistics contain no names, no email addresses and no IP addresses.
2. Why we collect it
Enquiry details are used solely to prepare a commercial offer and to contact you about it. Chat history is used to improve the quality of our answers. Visit statistics are used to understand which products are of interest and to improve the website. We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not send marketing emails to people who did not ask for them.
3. Where the data is stored
Enquiries, chat history and statistics are stored on our own server. Enquiries are additionally copied to a Google Sheets spreadsheet used as an internal record, and notifications are sent to our corporate mailbox. The online consultant is powered by the Google Gemini service: the text of your messages is transmitted to Google in order to generate a reply. Do not send confidential information through the chat — for confidential matters please use the enquiry form or email.
4. Cookies and tracking
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. The interface language you select is stored locally in your browser so the site remembers your choice; it is not transmitted anywhere. Our visit statistics work without cookies. To distinguish a returning visitor from a new one within a single day we use an irreversible technical identifier that changes every 24 hours; it cannot be used to identify you or to link your visits across different days.
5. How long we keep it
Enquiries and correspondence are kept for as long as needed for our business relationship and applicable record-keeping obligations. Visit statistics are kept for up to 400 days and are then deleted automatically.
6. Sharing with third parties
We do not sell your data and do not share it with third parties for their own purposes. Data may be transferred to transport and customs agents only where this is necessary to fulfil an order you have placed, and only to the extent required.
7. Your rights
You may request a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. To do so, write to the address below. We will respond within a reasonable time.
